After 2 days at sea and finally finding some warm weather, we arrival in San Juan, Puerto Rico around 8 AM.  We all got up and the smokers headed to the 11th deck for their first sig...  We went to breakfast and enjoy a nice breakfast.  A little after 9 we were all ready to go into San Juan.  Merchi had spend a week in San Juan before and she was knew where most things were.  We got off the ship and headed up the hill.  Walking too close to a motorcycle, I burned my left leg on the muffler, so I had to look for a drug store to buy some cream for  the burn.

We found a Walgreens and another local drug store and bought the cream and some soda's to drink.  The guys found a bench in a local park while the girls when into Marshall to do some shopping.....  So we took a cruise to San Juan to go shopping in a Marshall.....   I try to find the battery for the movie camera my daughter had loan me.  No such luck here, just  like Jacsonville, no battery or charger....  We went to a couple of other stores but did not buy anything....    As we were sitting in a nice park next to the old wall around San Juan, a local workman fell off of a ladder to his death over the wall...  How quit life can change.  Carmen and Fanny had already headed back to the ship to lay around the pool, so Scott and I headed for Don Q for the free Pina-colada... are they really really good..

Scott and I walked around a little and ended up in a little coffee shop on a small pier next to our ship.  We got an espresso -  they were very good.  After about an hour, Scott and I went back to the ship..   We had spend only a couple of hours in San Juan...  We needed to spend more time but no one else wanted to...

We had lunch onboard the ship and went back off the ship to buy several bottles of sprits...  The price for Rum was 3 quarts for less than $20 dollars, you can not beat that.  After that, we went back to the ship and took a little knap.  The floor show was some guy with a big snake - we skipped that floor show.  The entertainment on this cruise has not been very good.  After a good dinner, Carmen checked out the Casino and I headed to bed.  Life is great..
