From Tampa we sail south thru the bay and into the Golf of Mexico. We spend a day at sea and on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, we arrival in the harbor of George Town, Grand Cayman at about 7:00 am. We ate a good breakfast onboard and work our way down to the liberty launches (water taxi).  Because we did not tie up to a pier we had to ride the water taxi to shore.  It was a beautiful day and we got into George Town a little after 10:00 am.  This was the first time for Charles, Merchi, Fanny and Scott to be in Grand Cayman and of course, this was their first cruise...  After getting off the water taxi we just walked around and did some light shopping.  The weather was outstanding and it was a nice day to go walking around.  We bought a couple of things, but not very much...  We did not spend over a couple of hours ashore and then we returned to the ship.  After a nice lunch we hung out around the pool...  A very good cruise day!!!!
