Part of an outstanding vacation is going to and from the location of your vacation or at least that is what I believe.  This cruise started at 0400 am.  We got up and showered, had coffee, got into the car and drove over to our daughter's house and pickup Jacqueline our daughter.  We got to the Airport a little after 5:00am and process thru while Jackie took the car back to her house.  We had pre-printed boarding passes for U.S. Airways so we only had to check our bags and go to the departure gate. 

Our plane was on time and took off at 7:00am for Charlotte, NC; there we would change planes and head for Tampa, FL.  Everything when as scheduled.  Our plane arrival at Tampa at 11:30 am.  Getting our bags and taking a taxi  to the ship took about 45 minutes.  This was far better than the trip to get on the Liberty in April.   The trip to downtown Tampa in a taxi costed $22.00 and there were no standing in lines for a bus nor standing, waiting for the Carnival Liberty to let us onboard.
