Part of an outstanding vacation is going to and from the location of your vacation or at least that is what I believe.  This cruise started at 0300 am.  We got up and showered, had coffee, called our son Steve to let him know we were on the way.  We got at Steve and Nancy's home around 04:30 am.  Steve was going to bring our car home from the Airport.  We off loaded all the bags and Norfolk International Airport just before 05:00 am.  We had pre-printed boarding passes for U.S. Airways so we only had to check our bags and go to the departure gate.

Our plane was on time and took off at 5:45 for Charlotte, NC; there we would change planes and head for Fort Lauderdale, FL.  Everything when as scheduled.  Our plane arrival at Fort Lauderdale at 9:30 am.  Getting our bags and headed for the people assisting passengers who had pre booked transportation to the ship.  We were told no buses were available at the present time and after one and a half hour, I was not very happy.  Carnival had made the reservations and had not told us we would have to stand in the Airport for at least two hours and then for another two hours at the port terminal.  All in All, there arrangement for transportation was horrible!!!!  I do not recommending anyone to take there transportation service unless you check to see if the transportation will be available at your time of arrival and not have to stand in lines for over four hours...........
