Truly one of the friendliest places we have been to recently.  It is a beautiful, clean island, far better than any one of the island in the Caribbean we have visited.  The Carnival Liberty was late getting here and was late leaving.  This ship on the whole cruise never got some where on time nor left on time.  It was always a hassle to get on or off the ship.  The ship services onboard were very very good, but the excursions and leaving and boarding the ship were always big pains in the .....  I do not  believe I will every take a cruise on the Liberty or one larger than the Liberty in the near future with Carnival.  Every night we were into a port, the line at the Purser's office was very long with people complaining about their tours.....

The ship had a shuttle bus to town, about 6 blocks.  We did not know how far is was so we took the shuttle bus for 2.50 euros a person, or about $3.00 a piece to go into town, however, their crew got to ride the shuttle bus free......  Once in town we walked all around.  Enjoying the nice shops and fine street walk cafes.  We toured one of their beautiful old churches in the middle of town.  There was a hot air balloon you could ride and get a better view of the city.  However while we were waiting to take it the weather changed and it began to rain.  We found a friendly street walk cafe an got under their umbrellas  while it continued to sprinkle.  We enjoy a bottle of their local wine and watched the people go by.

Where we were sitting, the walk ways were lined with beautiful trees which had purple flowers.  Again, this was a beautiful and nice place to visit!!  It kept raining on and off so we had to paid another 2.50 euros a piece to go back to the ship.  The ship should of provide these buses or a nominal fee like the rest of Europe of 1.25 to 1.50 euros to ride the buses all day......
