Belize was a new adventure for the grandchildren. Getting on a tender, small boat, and going into port. After getting up, showering and dressing, on Tuesday morning, we headed up to breakfast. We enjoy a very delicious breakfast, got some tender tickets and headed into Belize. We had our grandchildren, ages 3 to 10, with us and none of the tours seem to fit us. So, we had decided to just go ashore and look around. The tender let us off at a pier area that was fenced off from the town. This area was a good three blocks long with numerous businesses within the area. We shopped for a couple of hours, the girls, grandchildren, got their hair braided. Chynna did not like it at all. The port area outside of the fenced in area, did not look to promising, it was old and run down. We did enjoy the shopping and the tender rides, at least the grandchildren had a ball. We returned to the ship for a late lunch and some fun around the pool. |
