Part of an outstanding vacation is going to and from the location of your vacation or at least that is what I believe.  This cruise started at noon the day before.  We left our home and drove over to Jackie's home, our daughter.  Jackie was driving us to the airport to catch a Southwest airplane to Jacksonville, FL.  We arrival at Norfolk International Airport at 1:00 PM, on Thursday the 12 of April 2007.  After checking our bags, we went upstairs an got a pizza at Ono, that was a mistake....  Our plane was on time and we headed to Jacksonville, FL to catch another plane to Fort Lauderdale, FL.  We arrival at Fort Lauderdale a little late, around 8:30 PM.  After finding our suitcases, I called the Comfort Suite Inn to send transportation for us.  They picked us up at the airport and took us too the Comfort Suite Inn with no problems.  After checking in, $150.00 lighter, we went up to the room.  The hotel is old and the bed and pillows were horrible.   Next morning we got up had breakfast, really the breakfast was not very bad, and they bused us to the Cruise Terminal.  Within 15 minutes, we were on the Celebrity Cruises' Constellation.  This was the same terminal we had went thru to get on the MSC Italian Lines' Opera 2 months earlier and over an hour to get on board, but Celebrity had it much better organized.  What a beautiful ship the Constellation is!!!  As we got onboard, some one was waiting for us with a glass of champagne.  What a difference from the Opera....  We went up to the Resort Deck for lunch.  What a nice experience this was, and it really getting you in the mood for a fantastic cruise.
